Paved Like a Highway

When looking at paving specifications many entities reference “airport grade”.  And while there are some nice runways out there you really don’t have to look further than Route 93 or 495 to see some of the best pavement around. 

It may not look first rate every year or mile, but the process and materials for a DOT highway have a century of engineering behind them. 

Most driveways and parking lots are designed far from the load carrying capacity of an interstate highway- there are choices the buyer needs to consider.  What is your desired longevity?  What is your budget?   Each new project starts with these questions and more.
